Our Oklahoma office is at 307 E Ray Fine Blvd., Suite 1, on Ray Fine Boulevard, the main route through Roland and a short run off the interstate exit.

Roland is a small town that sits in a busy spot. Sequoyah County on one side, the Arkansas line on the other, and a steady flow of people commuting east for work and west for home. That geography is the reason this office exists. Plenty of families here were driving into Arkansas for a cleaning, and there was no good reason for it.

Parking is right out front. You'll be in the building for the appointment you scheduled, not for a wait behind three other patients.

Two Dentists With Real Roots in Sequoyah County

This isn't a satellite office staffed by whoever's available.

Dr. Beau Sparkman, DDS is from here. He grew up in Sequoyah County, graduated from Muldrow High School, studied pre-med at Sterling College, and earned his DDS at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 2011. He owns the practice, sees patients at both locations, and is a member of the Oklahoma Dental Association, the Arkansas State Dental Association, the American Orthodontic Society, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. His focus areas are orthodontics and sleep apnea. He and his wife Paola have two kids, Elizabeth and Lucas, and he serves on the board at TheBOD.church.

Dr. Joseph Farmer, DDS went to high school in Sallisaw, took his biochemistry degree at the University of Arkansas–Fort Smith, and finished dental school at the University of Oklahoma. He serves at TheBod.Church here in Roland. He handles general and restorative care at both offices.

On hygiene, Raegan McGee, RDH is based here. She finished at the University of Arkansas–Fort Smith in 2016. Laura Williams, RDH works both offices; she's been in dentistry since 1997 and has practiced myofunctional therapy for more than ten years. Sarah Trotter, RDH is licensed in both Oklahoma and Arkansas, which means she can see you at either office without any licensing gymnastics.

This comes up on the phone almost every week, so here's the plain answer.

Most of the dental plans people around here carry are national carriers, and we're in network with the ones that dominate both sides of the line: Delta Dental Premier, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Aetna, MetLife, Guardian, United Concordia, Healthchoice, Sun Life, Principal, Assurant, and America's. Whether your card came from an Arkansas employer or an Oklahoma one, we file it the same way.

The one thing worth knowing is that some carriers run state-specific networks under the same brand name, so a plan issued in Arkansas and a plan issued in Oklahoma can have different network rosters even though the logo on the card matches. That's exactly why we verify your specific plan and its network status before your appointment rather than guessing at the front desk after your cleaning. Give us your card number when you call and we'll have an answer for you before you come in.

If you have coverage through a tribal health program, bring that card too and we'll check what it covers alongside your dental plan.

And if the answer turns out to be that we're out of network on your plan, we'll tell you the number before you sit in the chair. Our Smile Savers membership, at $440 a year for one person or $36.67 a month, is often the better deal for people whose plan doesn't travel well across the line.

The Towns This Office Sees

Roland's office draws from a good stretch of eastern Sequoyah County and across into Arkansas: Roland, Muldrow, Sallisaw, Gans, Vian, Gore, Pocola, and Arkoma.

A lot of those patients live in Oklahoma and work in Arkansas, or the reverse. Several families split it, with one parent getting a cleaning here on a day off and the other going to our Fort Smith office on a lunch break. Since we're one practice with one set of records, that works without anybody re-filling out paperwork or re-taking X-rays.

For families in Muldrow and Sallisaw, this is the closest option that offers orthodontics, implants, and sleep apnea care in the same building as your cleaning. That's not a small thing when the alternative is a separate drive to a separate specialist for every one of them.
